Job Summary

Lawrence General Hospital is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) with telemetry experience to join our team in the UH-4300 Wing General Medicine department. As part of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to diverse medical cases, utilizing advanced telemetry tools to monitor and support patients. This is a 13-week travel assignment that offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, work in a collaborative environment, and explore the Lawrence, Massachusetts, area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret patients’ vital signs using advanced telemetry equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and ongoing health needs.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with travel nursing assignments.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Job Details:

• Location: Lawrence General Hospital, 1 General St, Lawrence, Massachusetts, 01841
• Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts (36 guaranteed weekly hours)
• Contract Duration: April 21, 2025 – July 19, 2025 (13 weeks)
• Compensation: Includes daily overtime after 24 hours and weekly overtime after 40 hours.
