Description: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel Contract)

Location: Winchester, MA Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract

About The Role

Winchester Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide compassionate and high-quality care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. This role requires expertise in maternal care, clinical decision-making, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess laboring patients, providing necessary interventions
• Assist with deliveries, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications and IV fluids in accordance with hospital protocols
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation (preferred but not required)
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at submission
• BLS certification required
• Labor & Delivery experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Must not have worked at any Beth Israel facility (perm or travel) within the past year
• Facility is not accepting local candidates
  
  

Shift Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
  
  

Compensation & Contract Details

• Daily OT after 24 hours worked (based on multiplier)
• Weekly OT after 40 hours worked (based on multiplier)
• Pricing negotiations permitted
