Job Overview Title: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Company: Newport Healthcare Location: Bourne, MA Schedule: Overnight 11:00 PM-7:00 AM M-F potential for some weekends Duration: PERM Salary: $35.00-$43.80 per hour Based on years of experience $1/hr differential for night shift/weekends Start date: 3 weeks from offer PTC: 1 and done interviews with the Nursing Manager and Executive Director onsite Must haves: Active LPN licensure in MA Prior experience working night shift Plusses: Prior experience in behavioral health setting 1-3 years of experience as a nurse Experience administering med pass Day to day: As a Residential Behavioral Health Nurse (LPN) working the overnight shift, you will provide comprehensive care to patients residing in the hospital for 30-90 days. Your responsibilities include administering occasional body checks, conducting drug tests, COVID-19 tests, EKGs, and drawing labs as needed. You will follow patient care plans created by physicians, ensuring all prescribed treatments and interventions are administered accurately. All patients are settled and lights out by 10 PM, during your shift you will ensure all patients are asleep, remaining alert and attentive throughout the night. Patients wake up each day between 6-7 AM, you will help assist them for their day ahead with various duties such as morning medication pass. Throughout the night your duties include conducting audits, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies, and preparing for the AM shift. Additionally, you will prepare admission packets for new clients and be available to respond to any emergencies that may arise.
