Position Description

A New York City nonprofit services organization is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Primary Care team, providing nursing care and documentation for a diverse patient population.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm (11am to 7pm on Monday to Wednesday every other week)
  • Setting: Primary Care
  • Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating client services within a team
  • Performing specialized care tasks
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Attending patient case conferences
  • Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Primary Care and/or Emergency Room background
  • Experience in administering medications
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS populations
  • Experience in a Community Health Center and/or Psych Care role/setting
